Agree 100%. Definitely shouldn't be forcing targets or even snaps for Diontae at this point. Makes zero sense to do that and is just a recipe for disaster with the offense rolling. Lamar's been killing it with his anticipatory throws this year to his regular guys, so it'll be sick if he and Diontae can build that kind of chemistry

Johnson might be a rental and nothing more, and that's okay. The Ravens got him and a 6th for a 5th. Unless Carolina goes on a winning tear, the difference between those two picks is probably only 15-20 slots. And if Johnson moves on, gets lucky and signs a decent FA contract, the Ravens get maybe a 7th round comp pick for him anyway. Regardless, he's a long ball threat today that the Ravens hope Tez Walker would be down the line.

Diontae will be motivated to ball out against his former squad; He's probably not getting a ton of snaps, but when he is out there, I think Lamar might throw his way a couple of times.

Tomlin kind of low key making fun of him - not worried about scheming for Dionte

I don’t know if it was that low key.

I’m sure it was an intentional shot on Tomlin's part. Not so much to be mean spirited but to perhaps create a little tension on the Ravens side if Dionte doesn’t get some action early in this game.

I definitely think Lamar forces Dionte the ball in the end zone and the Steelers are planning on it

Tomlin continues to talk shit because he knows he can. He has owned the ravens last few years.

I haven't seen a coach this unafraid to talk shit about another NFL team since Jimmy Johnson over 30 years ago. You're right - he knows there will be no consequences.

Yeah he is definitely different than most in that aspect. He is definitely polar opposite of Harbaughs coach speak bullshit. He tends to speak his mind no matter who it offends.

Lets be honest, if Ravens were 7 wins vs 1 loss against them we would all feel a different way.

I think the fact that the Ravens are struggling against all 3 division opponents over the last few years is telling on Harbaughs lack of ability to coach.

It's crazy to think how every single position on offense gets a significant boost from the Lamar effect. Oline,Rbs,WRs everyone gets favorable conditions in some form because of it.

But the Ravens FO do deserve their kudos for a high performing WR room that doesn't break the bank. Or lets just say Pass Catchers as all three TEs are balling too.

I think they probably had/have plans to get Johnson going this week but you have to imagine Wallace will now be rewarded for being a playmaker last week. Wallace is a returner too, they're not going to give Johnson preferential treatment if Wallace is rewarding them for calling his number. Maybe Bateman gets a few less but he just had a good game too and I dont think you want to break that momentum. Nelly's been making plays too lol. IMO Ravens are fine with him being depth while their current guys are eating.

Harbaugh has won the last 4 with Cinci and split with Cle. The only one he's struggled with was Pitt and his starting QB didn't play in half thise games.
