A buddy of mine knows someone from Ireland who made the following comment to him:

I am confused. Is the question "Why would McCain want to be President given his other options?"
I would ask the same thing of Obama who has made himself rich being a community organizer, state Senator and now US Senator though briefly. Why would he want the job?
