True. Because it's an obsolete position. Maybe 5-6 teams carry one. Some just use a TE in that spot

I'd bet you any amount of RSR dollars that asked who he'd rather have Z or Pat.....Lamar would say Z ...all day and twice the first 2 games.

Kevin Zeitler’s current salary is $2m more than Ricard’s but he almost certainly turned down more here than he received in Detroit in the open market.

Sure and the same handful of guys keep the same jobs and only get unseated every 5 or 6 years.

So it takes several draft classes to find a starting FB, and decades to come up with a Pat Ricard.

He is NOT easily replaceable, or he’d be replaced.

Competent is a long way from All-pro.

Are you happy with a. Competent punter even though he may have been the single largest factor in one of our losses?

I'll lay you 10 to 1 odds that he'd say he'd rather have who he has. He keeps telling yall that he's good with Faalele. He continues to tell yall to give him his respect. Faalele has been playing better.

Lamar has never thrown a player under the bus and never will. Not his style. He holds guys accountable privately.
