I do agree on the OC having success and being poached. Just not sure Lamar and Co would instantly respect a guy like Clint Kubiak.

I think this is a unique case with the state of the current team, they would have so much fun being with a coach who knows it is 2024 that they would respect him immediately.

    Why not?
Lamar and Co want to win.
I got to think by now they are getting sick of Harbaugh and his ways of playing.
These guys all watch other teams play and see how other offenses operate.
Kubiak comes from the Shannahan lineage that has a long history of innovation and being successful.
I guarantee Kubiak will be a head coach next year.
Particularly if what the Saints are doing on offense continues.
His stock may never be higher.
The Shannahan tree is starting to become widdled down now as the branches have been spreading for a couple years now.

Bobby Slowik is another guy from that tree but Kubiak would be priority #1 in my opinion.
I absolutely think the guys here would welcome a more modern and innovative offensive philosophy.

Having put some thought into it here's my take:

If we start off 0-4 and potentially 0-5 I think Harbaugh will be gone after the season. We've never had that poor of a start and would most certainly miss the playoffs. I think that bad of a start would be grounds for on the spot firing, but Bisciotti wouldn't fire an HC mid season and would let the season finish first and then fire.

Not sure if it's losses or if it's general overall malaise.

On TV I saw a ton of empty seats. For a home opener in perfect weather.

Or if it's a trend of losing to teams that have gone 0-for-whatever after being down 10 points in the 4th quarter or some shit.

Or if it's challenging obviously correct officials' calls and blowing timeouts.

Or if it's his pig-headed stubbornness not to address things like Crosby single handedly wrecking certain OL stiffs in-game while even the most casual fan at the end of the bar screams for him to do it.

Or if it's reliably finishing the first half scoring 6 fucking points against lesser competition in what essentially was a homecoming game.

Maybe those things. But I'll tell you, as a longtime Harbaugh supporter, even I am just fed up with watching this team step on their collective dicks in games they should dominate. Maybe the ugly loss in the AFCCG just killed a part of me that hasn't come back, and maybe never will.

This economy is kicking peoples ass man folks don’t have money for things like this anymore and if they do it maybe one or two games not the whole season.

If we would have beaten the Chiefs it would be totally expected.... We've seen this before. They play down to the opposition and the refs push them over the cliff. Mentally weak they collapse. Lamar is mentally weak...

This thread is hilarious. BB did not look like a great coach when he didn't have Tom Brady. Brady won another SB with the Bucs and BB was fired. It would take an 0-5 to 0-7 start for their to be any discussion of it being time to make a move. The Ravens have a brutal schedule to start the year. I thought the 1 easy win would be the Raiders at home. It will be interesting to see where they are going into week 6. They need to win at least 2 of the next three against the Cowboys, Bills and Bengals. All of those teams are going to be tough.

It was only Preseason, but getting blown out in Green Bay in game 3 was very un-Harbaugh like. The starters never even suited up and the backups just looked bad.
