Re: What's up with these Democrats lying about their awards/service in the Military?
It's always amazing to watch the mental gymnastics the left goes through to protect the lies of other lefties. I'm sure it's been lost in the mail since 2006 and due to arrive in his mailbox any day now. He should have used Amazon Prime but it didn't exist in 2006. I'm guessing Moore kept up the lies cause he never expected to be checked by the liberal media. The 5% chance he'd get caught was worth the risk to him. Well, son of a B, he got caught.

It’s painfully clear neither of you has any understanding of the military and won’t accept the word of a Stolen Valor expert, you just want to make this some dems vs Trump shit. Moore was an actual combat veteran in Afghanistan, which has never been questioned. Be grateful to veterans, no matter what their political affiliations.

Re: What's up with these Democrats lying about their awards/service in the Military?
I think it's pretty cut and dry to me. From what I've read, Moore was put in for the medal, it was not approved, he did not get one, but he continued to say or lead people to believe he got one. Am I missing something? I'm not taking anything away from his service, but he should have been truthful about not receiving the award. What does your Stolen Valor expert say about Tampon Tim?

Re: What's up with these Democrats lying about their awards/service in the Military?
YouÂ’re missing that he was told to put it on the application in question from 2006 by senior officers recommending it to him that he do it, because they told him they had approved the medal. ItÂ’s not like his service is in question, they were in the process of trying to give him the award and he had received many others already, it could literally just be a paperwork issue from the Army.
“The Times also spoke to the officer who Moore said had recommended he put the award on his application this week in an interview arranged by Moore’s staff. The officer, Michael Fenzel, who is now a lieutenant general serving as the United States security coordinator for Israel and the Palestinian Authority, told The Times that Moore had first objected to the idea of mentioning the Bronze Star.
Fenzel said he had told Moore that he and others had approved the medal, and that it was appropriate to include it in his application, the newspaper reported, and that it would be processed by the time his fellowship began.”

We were talking about Moore, but as far as Walz, thereÂ’s a good podcast about this and other US Government officials with question marks like this called Battleline Podcast on YouTube. The latest episode talks Walz and features Anderson as a guest. They start talking Vance/walz around 27:50 mark.

Hopeless because he lied about getting a bronze star and I am pointing it out? Where did I question anything about his service? Oh that is right, I didn’t. Maybe you should practice reading comprehension before suggesting anything is drivel.
You my friend are the epitome of hopeless when you defend a liar.

lol, the whole point is he didnÂ’t lie. He hasnÂ’t gone around introducing himself as Mr Bronze Star. If anything you should blame the superior officers that admitted to telling him to put it on the application because they said they approved him and it would just be a matter of time, for a fellowship position 20 years ago.
You defend Trump all the time, who literally lies quite provably, all the time.

Re: What's up with these Democrats lying about their awards/service in the Military?
Then why is he apologizing? It's all semantics. He let others tell the lie for him and never bothered to correct them or his record till he was called on it and for all we know, still hasn't corrected it. He benefited from the lie. Would you prefer us calling him dishonest instead of a liar?
"In 2022, FOX45 reached out to the U.S. Army to confirm if Moore had received a Bronze Star Medal.
Sgt. Pablo Saez, a U.S. Army Spokesperson said, “There is no record of a Bronze Star medal in his file.”
He had several chances of correcting the lie in his record, but never did, and apologizes for not. It sure as hell seems that he liked the lie on his resume by not ever correcting it.
However, The New York Times article published on Aug. 29 uncovered that Moore listed he received the award on an application for a White House fellowship in 2006. In a lengthy statement issued just hours after The New York Times article was published, Gov. Moore said he had been directed to include the award by a superior officer, who indicated he applied for the award for Moore.
“I’ve taken full responsibility for what was in there. I understand a superior officer told me to put it in there, but it wasn’t his application, it was my application,” Gov. Moore said Friday when asked about the issue. “I take full responsibility.”
But that doesn’t explain why Gov. Moore’s campaign told FOX45 News that Moore “has never claimed to have a Bronze Star.”
“Yeah, I do regret the fact that I didn’t go back and change it,” Gov. Moore said Friday when asked if he regretted the statement from his campaign that was incorrect. “Honestly, I forgot. It was an honest mistake.”
Gov. Moore said he didn’t think about the medal or other awards after he separated from the military because that’s not why he signed up to serve his country. But when faced with questions about his record during his campaign, Moore had the opportunity to correct the record. FOX45 News asked Gov. Moore why he didn’t look into the issue when questions were raised two years ago.
“Honestly didn’t think at that time to go back and look at every piece of paper I filled out over the past 30 years of my life. When it was brought to my attention, it was a surprise to me,” he said, adding that he had no malintent. “It was an honest mistake.”

Funny how VPs and former Presidents are treated differently by the enemy of the people, which is the media and yes, now even the politically weaponized Army. Look at what happened on May 31, 2010. Recognize anyone in particular? The US Army had no problem with Joe Biden taking photos in Arlington in the past. Fucking hypocrite lying sacks of shit.

Re: What's up with these Democrats lying about their awards/service in the Military?
Let’s stay on topic, this isn’t about Donald Trump.
This is about Wes who in fact DID lie. He did not receive his Bronze Star, which is given at a ceremony and left it on his resume. Cut and dry.
People stretch the truth on a resume all the time, not a big deal. To say you received a medal when you didn’t is stealing valor. I don’t give a shit who told him to put it as he was going to receive it. Fact is HE DID NOT RECEIVE IT.
Is it in his house? Maybe he is using it as a doorstop? Don’t be a clown, that isn’t something someone just overlooks. People are rightfully entitled to be proud of their service and even more so for achievements. He conveniently forgot he never physically received this medal? That is not an honest mistake, it is willful deception.
