Why compare breathalyzers to seat belts then?

Texting and driving is just as idiotic but this statement is verifiably false. Over 13000 ppl die per year because of drunk driving, while the number texting and driving is at around 400. That’s still 400 too many but to say it’s worse than driving buzzed or drunk is insane

Distracted driving causes more accidents and you're way off with that 400. It's over 3k deaths. Drunk driving causes more deaths tho and again you was wrong. It was 10k. Quick google search will show you that so you really distorting to fit your narrative.

Bottomline is you should only have a breathalizer if you've been convicted and make them pay for it. You got caught a 2nd time it's a felony. No less than a year in jail. Don't penalize the innocent.
    I don't know a lot but I know a little

I’m not. The number for distracted driving is 3k. The number for texting and driving is 400. And yes I’m sorry. I got the 13k number mistakenly from ‘22

Your argument is true in a sense however your wrong. Everything we do impacts one another. Say you eat a Tide pod and become deathly ill and have to go to a hospital. So now a doctor or a nurse has to tend to you instead of someone else who maybe suffering a medical emergency. You are wasting valuable resources at the hospital. What about the first responders that came to your house? Ambulance? That all cost money......resources. Your simply looking at the surface of the issue.

You will end up with face tattoos and a liberal arts degree asking me to pay your loans while you wonder why you can earn a living wage with no skills, no ambition, no work ethic; and a complete lack of desire to reliably show up on time and put in a days work. Then you will spend your nights campaigning for Kameltoe lamenting why housing is unaffordable while you wear $300 Yeezy’s, talking on your $1500 phone sipping out of a $9 Starbucks.
