Andrew Tate
Warning: I am posting this because it's different then what we often talk about around here. If this is not your cup of tea.......scroll on by. It's not for everyone. The video I linked contains a interview between Andrew Tate and Tucker Carlson. I found it interesting and enlightening. I posted it for discussion. Don't worry, you won't hurt my feelings if it disappears in the annals of the RSR.
Most people think that Tate is nothing more then an inflated ego........arrogant. I have to disagree, I find him to be confident, people sometimes mistake confidence as being arrogant, cocky or even misogynistic. I think there's a ton of truth in what he says. In this interview I think he nails it.
Almost 100% of the posters down here are men, I think men face a unique challenge in life..........some would say that we all do. But I am not those people, I am not a woman.......a gay person, a Trans etc. I am a man, a married man with a child, grandchildren and I believe most men are the same. Just working trying to make it in this world. We as men have a unique fight on our hands. People like Tate, Jordan Peterson and a few others I consider "men advocates". It's been a long time coming.......woman have had advocates for decades, Gay people have had advocates.........Hollywood, the music industry etc. Even animals have had advocates......PETA, we've watched commercials for years that tug at our heart strings for pets and animals. Unconditional love is only experienced by woman, children and pets. Men are loved on condition of what they provide. If they fail to provide they are often cast aside. He might not provide what a woman wants in a relationship and she will find another man that interest her......I know not all woman.......however way over 70% of woman file for divorce. Out of the 30% of men filing half are filing because the woman cheated. That means only 15% of men file for divorce because of irreconcilable differences. Most men will stay in a marriage because for them it's about doing the right thing.......commitment. They often end up in sexless, unhappy marriages. Woman? They end up with half their shit......the house they paid for, child support, a fight to see their kids, half their pension and their dog. If a woman struggles there is always someone there to help them, there's often another man to help them. The Government will help them. Men? Your basically on your own buddy.
I think If you look past Tate's brashness there is a lot of truth in what he says.

Re: Andrew Tate
Been watching his stuff for about 3 years now. Followed him closely when he was arrested. Very interesting case. For the most part what he says about gender roles, current society and the things we men go through are spot on.

Re: Andrew Tate
I am actually shocked there wasn't more commentary. But that might just be the residual effect that you mentioned.....Tate is extremely polarizing......I get it, but I think the lack of any response may just be typical of male behavior........just don't talk about it. We have been conditioned.
I thought posters like CarrollcoRaven would comment.......he comments on almost every thread. There are others as well. What I am not surprised about are the two that did comment. Two posters I find to be some of the more cerebral posters on RSR. I really like the chat forum here at RSR, an incredible diverse group. I understand why......sports crosses most barriers.......it brings us all together for one cause. Which is one of the best things about sports. I think Tate is much like Trump.......Brash, egotistical. What he says is truthful........it's not the message it's the delivery.Always buying Antique and vintage items......
