Re: OT: Summerslam 2024
Imma find me a girlfriend who can send me to Wrestlemania. Lol. Only, in my case, she might have to be a little older than me and go by a different term. Lol

Re: OT: Summerslam 2024
I thought Summerslam was great. The return of Roman was awesome. How they turned the guy babyface with him being off tv for four months amazing. The pop he got was huge.
I thought LA Knight and Logan Paul was the best match of the night. I’m a big LA Knight fan so seeing him win and out on the performance he did was nice.
Hope Jacob Fatu isn’t seriously injured because he’s important to the story now that Roman is back. Roman finding redemption with Jey and Sami is gonna be great tv

Re: OT: Summerslam 2024
My original thought was that Jacob was working an injury, because HHH didn't want Roman and Jacob to interact so soon. And that Jacob was just doing a great job working. But he was selling so well that I can understand a lot of people thinking he was legitimately hurt. But apparently Fightful (Ugh) was indeed told that it was a work. Or, basically, he was told to play up an injury, before he went out there, irregardless of what he may have eventually sustained.

Ex I've never watched a second of the WWE but I'd love to watch it with you IRL and you can give me all the lore lol

Re: OT: Summerslam 2024
It's probably the Ben Roethlisberger walking boot gimmick. Remember Ben would just show up in a boot and say it wasn't serious. The purpose was to get attention. Jacob Fatu does have the tag team belt so if they drop them quick or just replace him with someone else we'll have more info. They can't just ignore it.

Re: OT: Summerslam 2024
When I first started watching Superstar Billy Graham was the WWWF champion. Yup, I'm that old and remember seeing that when I was around 7 years old. Sometimes I'll go years without watching but my youngest got into WWE and it's something we will watch together. At least we do when it's good like this. The only way I can watch Raw or Smackdown is to record and fast forward through all the endless talk. These pay per views, or PLE as they call them now, are different. The matches have been really good for a while now.

Re: OT: Summerslam 2024
The idea that someone would pick Liv Morgan over Rhea Ripley was too much for my suspension of disbelief.

I don't know what it is, but Liv has this cult following of men who drool over her. And don't get me wrong, she's beautiful, in great shape. But she just gives off, psycho chick vibes, mixed with, 'I just think I'd have a better chance at Liv' vibes. Rhea is all woman. Powerful, prominent.
