True. So does this make Alfred the world's greatest/fastest woman sprinter. Alfred just beat her from the blocks and had great starts.

WTG first woman from St. Lucia to win a gold in sprint events. Alfred is still young. Will she be around for the LA Olympics.

Congrats to Ryan Crouser on winning his 3rd straight Olympic gold medal. Kovacs took the silver for the US.

Ehhh, if someone “more accomplished” wins the 200 many may still keep the title with that person. It’s pretty informal and up for interpretation.

Best 10 seconds of every 4 years. Top notch field, any of the 8 were legitimate contenders to win. Closest finish I can recall.

I think it was awesome to see the women's 4x100 medley swim relay not only break the world record in the last event of the Games for swimming, but also pushed the US swim golds to one more than Australia. The Aussies were shooting their mouths off a lot before the Games started. The USA won that medal count 8 golds to 7, and 28 total to 18.

Can you imagine her in St Lucia? There's only 180,000 people on that island. She's never going to be able to go out to dinner in peace again.

Either that, or she can just spend a day signing 180,000 autographs and get it over with.

So corny. Tell you what, from now on I’ll run my posts by you and get your approval first boss. Nice little speech, I wrote 1 sentence.

I gotta say. Romania got done dirty on the floor routine. Chiles was very good but I don't think she was better than either Barbosu or Maneca-Voinea.
