Those are some good names and from swing states. I personally want Andy Beshear he is a man of the people. Mark Kelly i respect his career in military and as an astronaut but his record on unions is weak, Tim Waltz is a bit bland but his record in Mineesota is nothing short of impressive and has been a progressive force.Josh Shapiro is beloved in PA and and a personal friend of Kamala, I think he could relate to a lot of conservatives he is a school voucher kinda guy.

I know how you feel about Kelly, but he would make the most sense from an optics standpoint. Kamala is viewed as a far leftist (ironic, isn't it?) and that ticket would need to be able to appeal to the undecided voters.

Mark Kelly is a tough on guns canidate though. Beshear is very liberal on guns

I think its either Kelly or Shapiro who gets the nod. Kelly owns a gun, hell of a military/astronaut record, and is impacted by the border living in AZ so its likely him to balance out Harris, although he is not as recognized as Shapiro.

There are a bunch of older white people who have been trending towards Biden. I can’t see those people voting for Harris. Maybe Mark Kelly could help with that. He is a 60 year old white guy who is a former Navy combat pilot and former NASA Astronaut. Kelly is a legit hero. He might be able to help Harris get some of those older white voters.

If Harris chooses Kelly as her VP, could she get away with moving more to the center regarding the border? Kelly has already voiced a more conservative position on the border than Biden. I would pick him as the VP and let him take the lead in talking about immigration. Being from AZ gives Kelly a lot of credibility.

ding ding ding, Harris needs a very white man with very centrist ideals to appeal to old white people.

However i expect Bipartisan border bill to be passed as soon as Trump stops telling republicans to tank it so he can run off it regardless of who the president/vp is.
