Emergency Candidates If Biden Steps Down:

Governor West Moore of Maryland- A social moderate and strong fiscal conservative. He's already cut high education and department of health in Maryland. After graduating, he attended Wolfson College, Oxford, as a Rhodes Scholar, where he earned a master's degree in international relations in 2004[24] and submitted a thesis titled Rise and Ramifications of Radical Islam in the Western Hemisphere. How western fears and behavior led to the rise of radical Islam.[25] He was activated in the Army following the September 11 attacks, and deployed to Afghanistan from 2005 to 2006,[26] attaining the rank of captain while serving in the 82nd Airborne Division.
Governor Josh Shapiro of Pennsylvania- At a young age, Shapiro started a worldwide letter-writing program, known as Children for Avi, on behalf of Russian Jewish refuseniks.[5][6][7] He attended high school at Akiba Hebrew Academy, now known as Jack M. Barrack Hebrew Academy, and then located in Merion Station, Pennsylvania. As attorney general, he released the findings of a statewide grand jury report that revealed the abuse of children by priests and coverup by church leaders; he also helped negotiate $1 billion for Pennsylvania as part of a national opioid settlement.
Senator Mark Kelly of Arizona-Kelly flew combat missions during the Gulf War as a naval aviator before being selected as a NASA Space Shuttle pilot in 1996. He flew his first space mission in 2001 as pilot of STS-108, piloted STS-121 in 2006, and commanded STS-124 in 2008 and STS-134 in 2011, the final mission of Space Shuttle Endeavour. Kelly's wife, then-Arizona Congresswoman Gabby Giffords, was shot and nearly killed in an assassination attempt on January 8, 2011.[6][7] Six people died in the Tucson shooting.
Governor Andy Beshear of Kentucky-He represented the developers of the Bluegrass Pipeline, which would have transported natural gas liquid through Kentucky. The project was controversial; critics voiced environmental concerns and objections to the use of eminent domain for the pipeline. His father's office maintained that there was no conflict of interest with the son's representation.[12][13][14][15] Beshear also represented the Indian company UFLEX, which sought $20 million in tax breaks from his father's administration, drawing criticism from ethics watchdogs over a potential conflict of interest.
I think Shapiro could challenge Trump based on the political atmosphere in this country. Moore would get Muslim votes though and people who are interested in deficit reduction. He blames the west fears and behavior contributing to the rise of radical islam. Any thoughts on the candidates?Last edited by simplesimon; 07-20-2024 at 02:53 PM.
