They surrounded him and had him stand after they felt the situation called for it. They then got him off the stage as quickly as he would allow. He wanted to stay in defiance but they rightly moved him.

The shooter was likely dead by the time they had him stand. It seems he was on a rooftop nearby and sharpshooters took him out quickly.

They laid on him and shielded him. They made a wall around him as they stood him up and moved him.

They put their lives on the line for him and you come here and start accusing them of not performing well?

You sir, as I and many others have said many times, are sick. Seek the Physician of all physicians.

The SS were heroic today. As they are willing to be every day.

I don't think they want to release details and risk "glorifying" the shooter. They killed the guy they obviously have info on him, I just think what's getting out is obviously controlled. Not sure why the details matter though, the shooter's identity doesn't change anything. Motive is clear. Domestic terrorist.

If you look at Simons post people are already blaming certain groups, Immigrants, Iran etc. Letting people's mind run wild of who is responsible is dangerous

I mean if it's an outside state like Iran that definitely changes things and is a huge deal. But I think it's very likely domestic. If info comes out to the contrary I'll adjust what I think. But if someone is an immigrant or a race or a sexual orientation it literally doesn't matter at all at least to me, they attempted to take the life of a political adversary. Textbook anti democracy totalitarian domestic terrorism

Agree it was domestic but if they don't pin point who and why it leaves the door open for blaming the Biden Admin, Blaming minorities, blaming antifa, blaming Hamas , Blaming BLM, blaming RINOs etc etc etc.

I'm sure a name will be revealed. I'm sure there will be acts of retaliation against innocent people, which is obviously also extremely wrong.

Violence begets more violence. Things like this can be a watershed moment. The shooter, ironically and tragically, probably will have caused more pain to his political "side" when it's all said and done than anyone else. And probably secured Trump's second term. We're extremely lucky for the health and safety of this country and our political system that the shooter was ultimately unsuccessful.

Any take other than this was front to back wrong, anti democracy, and not how we should do things in this country is ridiculous and dangerous.

Shade isn't blaming SS for the shooting, we can all agree they acted bravely after the shooting, what he's saying is the SS dropped the ball by ever letting it get close to shots being fired. They should've had agents at every vantage point for exactly this reason. I bet there is more security going forward.

My read was Shade said they acted outside protocol, blah, blah, blah. He doesn't even know what SS protocol is, nor do I.
