Wait. You mean a news organization posted a misleading headline to increase controversy and clicks?

I'm going to need a minute.

    1) opening at KC (I understand why it's ideal in many ways as others have argued, but I personally hate it)
    2) three games in 10 days in pure BS
    3) second year in a row traveling on Christmas Day is a joke
    4) two away monday nighters again is another cruel joke on Baltimore fans.

Otherwise, it's a very reasonable schedule (no snark).
Someone feel free to check my math, but your MNF comment had me curious.

Since our 1st MNF game in 2001(and inclusive of that one) the Ravens have played 30 games on MNF to a solid 17-13 record (.567 winning %).

21 fucking times (70%) we've been the ROAD team and we have 2 more road MNF games this year.

Since we won the SB in 2012 we've played in 14 MNF games with 2 more on the way in 2024.

Only 4 of these 16 have been home games:

    2012 vs Bengals (44-13 W)
    2017 vs Texans (23-16 W)
    2020 vs Chiefs (34-20 L)
    2021 vs Colta (31-25 W)

To even things up at 50-50 home and away, the Ravens would need to be granted 2 MNF home games each year for 7 years. Ridiculous.

The Athletic did a story on it this morning - it was to make sure she could attend the KC games

    https://www.nytimes.com/athletic/549...iefs-schedule/

Travis Kelce has been frequently spotted on the sidelines this offseason, as he has traveled internationally to support Taylor Swift on her record-breaking Eras Tour.

The celebrity couple is known for attending each other’s events, with Swift appearing at 13 Chiefs games last season, including the Super Bowl won by Kelce and Kansas City for their second straight title. Swift notably made the long-distance trip from her show in Tokyo to that championship game in Las Vegas.

There are three shows — Oct. 20, Oct. 27 and Dec. 8 — that fall on the same dates as Chiefs regular-season games, although there are four other games in Weeks 9-12 that may be difficult for the pop star to attend due to her tour dates.

Below is a schedule showing when Swift’s Eras Tour overlaps with Kelce’s 2024 game schedule. Unless otherwise noted, she does not have shows scheduled for those game dates.

That article doesn't hint that the NFL changed Chief game dates so Taylor could see games. It just talk about where the schedule aligns where she can. The NFL did account for her tour taking over NFL stadiums - which my link backed up. Yours is just speculation. In fact, her tour schedule and the Chiefs schedule, in your own link, show there are 3 Chiefs games where Taylor is touring in a different town that night and 4 others where the schedule may conflict. Why would the NFL announce they want to make sure Taylor is at as many games as possible and still have 7 game conflicts?

lmao believe what you want. no they wouldn't try to add thousands of viewers who only watch to see Swift. It has to be another reason ;-)

Dallas and Atlanta host tons of events, I didn't see that mentioned ;-)

Holy s#%t. Are you serious?! I did not know this nonsense.

absolute BS. I've always believed that Goodell and the NFL higher-ups have secretly hated and conspired against the Ravens. This is strong evidence to me

It's not a believe what you want thing. The NFL came out and said they factored in Taylor Swift's concert into their schedule because of conflicts in those cities with Taylor's concerts. That's what your original tweet was referencing. The NFL didn't say they were doing it so Taylor can attend games.

Do they have ulterior motives for it to line up Taylor and the Chiefs? Maybe, but why would they leave 7 games where she can't go? If you want to believe that, feel free, but the official reason is what I stated above.

Her tour schedule would likely be the one to accommodate the Chiefs schedule. If her tour schedule allows she can attend any KC game she wants, home or on the road. She has a private jet.

This claim makes no sense. The NFL had to adjust for Swift using a facility just like they have to for MLB.

One game at a time, stay healthy and keep improving. No one said it was going to be easy.

In the end, to be the best then you have to beat the best. This season we will be facing the best the league has to offer.

They would also take into account any other star performer with a huge tour

TBH, the Regular season schedule doesn't have me worried at all. I could care less who the opponents are, when they play, or where they have to travel.

But FFS- if we see another spectacular reg season with another Lamar MVP, only to be followed up by another missed Super Bowl appearance...that kind of frustration will make a lot of heads explode in Baltimore.
