To flame out in the playoffs you first have to MAKE the playoffs. We’ve gotten very used to that being a foregone conclusion with a healthy Lamar, but it’s not a given. The whole division was above .500 last year, three of them made the playoffs. Two of those teams were missing their starting QB most of the year. And one of them didn’t even HAVE a starting QB.

This team is a SB contender, but I’ll wait to worry about what happens in the playoffs when they actually make it that far. A lot can happen between now and then.

This is a pretty comprehensive overview that I found interesting

    • The Ravens have the #1 largest net rest edge (+16 days) since at least 1990 and likely the largest in NFL history

World Domination 3 Points at a Time!

    Re: 2024 Ravens Schedule

Some teams have a nemesis. The 1980's Broncos were the Browns curse as they beat them 3 times to go to the Super Bowl. Seems the Ravens can't get past the Chiefs. Last year going 13 - 4, then smashing the Texans 34 - 10 in the 1st playoff game, the Ravens were looking good but laid an egg vs. the Chiefs, losing a tepid game 17 - 10. I'm confident we will be in the playoffs again this year, but am not sure we can beat the Chiefs (if we face them again), but the optimist in me is hopeful... Bc

So the Niners have three games against teams coming off a bye; do I have that right?

The Ravens then have zero games against teams coming off a bye.

yeah I like that way of looking at the schedule. Last year was brutal and on paper, you think this is too but then analyzing rest days shows another side
