Why is it that if you go on twitter, you just see the same three highlights regurgitated ad nauseam: The deep pass against the Jets. The slant against the Dolphins and the catch from last year against the Cardinals? In three years, that's it! Like, seriously, that's all we can come up with? And if you say he can't do something 'consistently enough', like clockwork, somebody posts one of those three clips. It never fails. In three years. Sad. That's just sad. Lol. He also had the screws in his foot from the lisfranc. Most players in that situation have said they were never quite right and felt much, much, better the year after when the screws were removed. Bateman should be screw free this year

For the record, I'm not saying Bateman's going to come out and compete with Tyreek Hill for best WR in the league. But he'll play well enough where people will not have an issue with him being on the team

Deep pass against the Steelers, misjudges it in the air and ultimately drops it
Deep pass versus the Rams, quits on the route for what should have been a big play: Incomplete
Deep pass versus the Dolphins, misjudges it, then lunges for it, and drops it
Playoff game. He runs a crosser, Lamar rolls to his right, looks RIGHT AT HIM and signals to him to cut his route upfield where there's tons of space. He stays on the crosser, the DB squeezes it, Lamar has nowhere to go with the ball.

I could literally name more plays, off the top of my head, from last year alone, where he didn't step up, then I can actual noteworthy highlights for his entire career.

Lamar managed to pass the ball to Flowers, Agholor, Beckham and Andrews for more receptions, touchdowns and yards than Bateman but somehow it's Lamar's fault that Bateman stunk?
