Welcome to Baltimore Nate Wiggins, CB, Clemson.

Another freak to add to our freakshow defense.

EDC says they had offers to move out but were always taking Wiggins or "one other guy" they liked there.

Was one of the 30 pre draft visits.

The other guy mustíve been Darius Robinson.

Couldn't have been Robinson, he was selected at 27th.

Listening to the presser, I think he was saying it was coming down to OT or CB in RD1, likely with Guyton gone (who could have be the "other" he was referring to), its possible he was referring to Wiggins vs Koolaid being the "other". Seems based on what im hearing they expected a lack of Edge and gluttony of WRs, so the target was always a top OT or CB, and let the board fall in their favor. Typical Ravens move and thats worked well for them.

Agree. I think he meant Wiggins and another CB still on their Board, either DeJean or KoolA.

I feel pretty good about this pick considering how the board fell. I think if he can bulk up and work on his tackling we've got a stud cover corner

I'm with you, and they said he's already up to 182 lbs. I don't know how much more weight his frame can handle, hopefully up to 190 without losing his blazing speed. Even though CB was a "need", I don't feel EDC reached for Wiggins. He has "1st round draft pick" written all over him.

There are still Olinemen to be had in the 2nd and 3rd rounds... Bc

Wiggins is not only fast but can defend against 6'4 and 6'7 guys like he did against Keon Coleman and Johnny Wilson.

On his tape he is fast, catchy and shows that he spares no effort.
It's more about hitting than tackling, but he doesn't lose many yards when he allows the catch.
great choice considering what we have to face.
We can also move Marlon as nickel where he always played well
