OT: N.F.L. or McCain?
What will you be watching tomorrow night? Opening night of the 2008 NFL or the R.N.C. with John McCain's acceptance speech?
Also O'Reilly will be interviewing Obama on the Factor.
What will people be watching?

Probably flip around between all three. Non-Ravens NFL games get harder and harder to watch every year. Throw in Tony K. and you have an unwatchable product. Parity has really lower the quality of play around the league.

Not even close. Football before politics.
I watch CNN/FOX/MSNBC/C-SPAN etc... all day and get my fill of political rhetoric from all sides of the spectrum.
A man has to keep his priorities in order.

Please.
You got your wish with someone bashing the GOP and then this turned into a thread about a fat steeler chick.
I'm sure the smile on your face from pyite's post is still lingering.
Keep your political talk in the politics forum.
And don't pretend this isn't a political thread.

Re: OT: N.F.L. or McCain?
Probably just glance at McCain and NFL if I stay awake that late. No interest in a TV journalist interviewing a politician. I don't watch other NFL games often, unless they directly impact the Ravens. And political conventions are too long-winded ... easier to read the summaries and catch video snips if anything worthwhile was stated.
In a 2003 BBC poll that asked Brits to name the "Greatest American Ever", Mr. T came in fourth, behind ML King (3rd), Abe Lincoln (2nd) and Homer Simpson (1st).
