Tyreek Hill gets paid handsomely for the danger he gets put in for Football and Id argue you have much more self control as a ball carrier than in handcuffs.

However Tyreek Hill was telling the truth about the Knee Surgery,

    https://www.si.com/nfl/mike-mcdaniel...y-police-video

It doesnt really matter who he is or what he does , if A complying citizen who is already in handcuffs asks for an additional second to sit down that is NOT an invitation to be dragged to the hot florida pavement.

Again, I am younger man who has invisible injuries and conditions from my service, I too would be very slow to sit down on a curb with my hands tied behind my back in handcuffs. I hope the cops wouldnt take that as disrespect against their authority and drag me to the ground.

I ask you, with no warm up to full squat to 4inches above the ground where a curb would be, with your hands in handcuff position and tell me your knees feel great doing it.

Sorry, that was just him being an asshole. And in no way does it justify a supposedly professional person whose job it is to deal with assholes being that aggressive. But the knee surgery thing? Was his knee in more trouble if he tried to sit on the ground as instructed, or by refusing and getting *pushed* to the ground?

Just not buying it at all. He was trying to be a dick. In America, people should be free to be dicks without being physically assaulted. But still -- dick.
Give it a try in handcuffs, with a couple of heavily armed men surrounding you in a threatening manner, and then get back to me on how well you handle it.

The dude was likely trying anything to get the fucking cops to chill. It isn't the case law to be scared and say anything that might help de-escalate the situation because those cops, indeed, were not interested in de-escalating shit.

He did roll his window back down partly and then finally he was sitting there when the door was open. It was no need to push him off to the ground except the officer. Just wanted to make a point. Well he made a point the wrong way....... once the door was open and Tariq was just sitting there showing his hands, there was no need to go any further except the guy wanted to be an asshole and he got what assholes get.

    News/rumors 2024

I’m watching Cardinals at Buffalo and it’s very windy. The ball keeps blowing off the tee

as part of the new kickoff rule you’re allowed to have a 12th player come out and hold it.

First play in history where 12 players were legally on the field

World Domination 3 Points at a Time!

He didn't REFUSE to sit down he asked for a second because he just had knee surgery, which was confirmed true. Many implied the knee surgery was a lie earlier but have not acknowledged its truth.

I Also reject the idea if you're an athlete or physically fit( atleast the appearance of) it's okay for the cops to rough you up because you can handle it or it doesn't hurt you or whatever.

I'm guessing you wouldn't want Lamar Jackson/Mark Andrews to have to risk an injury during a violent police arrest despite them being athletes

And tbh I really don't even want to defend Tyreek Hill he actually should be in jail for some things but on that day he was just a dude heading to work who was misdemeanor speeding.

I'm as liberal as it gets but not here. This is another situation of someone who thinks that following a lawful order doesn't apply to them and he got what he was asking for. Just like the idiot in DC who got shot and killed actively trying to grab the officer's weapon after passing out in a Mcdonald's drive thru with a gun on his lap. Do what the police tell you, end of story. Don't really care if the officer got put on leave, to me that would be just another instance of a police officer doing his job and getting punished for it like you see almost weekly for things they are doing absolutely right and the public wants to say it's wrong.

I've never had a problem with police because I yes sir, no sir, and follow what they tell me to do. Unlike some of you, evidently, who think it's okay to backtalk and disrespect the police. You know the state of policing in America today, you're gonna get what you're asking for. Can't play ignorant.

Assuming you have a job you are paying the salary of the police. They work for the people. Yes, being polite and cooperative to just get on with it is the best advice, but that speaks to an underlying fear of I don’t want to step out of line because it might get bad for me. They also need to be respectful. If the police do their job in fear they shouldn’t be police.
