That doesn't matter much unless the illegal crap of ballot stuffing is stopped or the Republicans stoop to that level, which is not the course I would want.

It matters a great deal. Even if the eliminate the illegal crap, if the Republicans don’t improve their mail in ground game by a lot, they are in trouble.

The key word in my take was "unless." I would agree the Republicans need to step up getting out their votes in person and in mail-in balloting.

But if the illegal stuff isn't taken care of that doesn't matter.

Remember, they STOPPED the counting once they realized how many votes they needed, they stuck that many into the system and starting counting again. If Trump had gotten 10 million more votes in those swing states those metro areas would have stuffed 10 million +1 back in.

    This.

There should be no excuse for the RNC not getting out the vote in 24. This is why so many wanted to see Rona McDaniel removed from the RNC. She didn't do shit during 2020 and the mid-terms were less than ideal.

It won’t matter. The FBI and the rest of the Justice Department will do whatever it takes to make sure a Republican doesn’t win. Comey has already said as much.

Yeah it'd be nice if they had the balls to let the people vote on it. I believe term limits would be non partisan and would pass by a landslide. Not too sure bout the flat and fair tax tho since I've never heard a lefties position on it. I mean if they want the rich to pay their fair share but do they?
    I don't know a lot but I know a little

Ballot boxes and ballot harvesting yes. Mail ins I don't trust. Remember the postal union endorsed Biden.

This is why DeSantis is the candidate. He’s legit.

The sad part is that flat tax hurts the lower income brackets more than the higher ones.

Our tax code is considerably progressive. Our bottom half of wage earners combine to contribute nothing at all to the federal budget.

When morons on Facebook complain about the rich “paying their fair share” they simply don’t understand anything. The rich pay almost everything. They pay far more than their fair share.

A flat tax sounds good, but actually benefits the rich.

What the plans ACTUALLY want but aren’t smart enough to understand is a simplified tax code with far less loopholes: It is way too easy for the rich to counterbalance all income with write offs.

THAT is the problem; not the tax RATE.

Well yeah. But a flat tax fixes that. No loopholes. Just pay your X% tax. Based on total income. Don’t be hiding cash in stock options and off shore. Nope. Hedge fund guys be damned. Pay your damn taxes.

Nice talking points but a stock option is just that, it isn't cash. It only has theoretical value until exercised or sold. How do you tax theoretical value? It also isn't income until sold. Even when exercised it actually costs the person money to buy the stock at the option price. The person you want to tax doesn't actually realize income until the option or stock itself is sold. You want to tax potential.

You have the potential to make a million dollars next year, should that be taxed?

As for hiding off shore, I have no idea what you mean. Businesses that make money off-shore and keep it off-shore are not required to pay tax on it. Why should they? The money was earned in another country. Why should the US government get any of that?

If an individual earns money ANYWHERE and keeps it ANYWHERE and are a US citizen they pay income tax on it. EVEN IF THEY LIVE OVERSEAS! I believe we are the only country in the world that taxes individual income made overseas.

    Sure, for W2 employees.
Doesn’t change how capital gains work or how to prepare a tax return after receiving a K1….

False. I lived in Bermuda for 18months. Paid Bermuda tax on my income there. Had to have my pay direct deposited into their bank..Bank of Butterfield. I only pay tax on money I bring into this country over $5000.

Former owner of a company in Baltimore had multiple accounts in Bermuda and in Cayman Islands. Tax free. Money was earned in the US and deposited there.

Same if you work in say …Saudi Arabia ..the first 100K ( I believe ) you earn there isn’t taxed here.
