good post. We should get nuk

Yeah, but that's with every team.....holes? That's a matter of opinion. We have guys we just don't know how they will perform.......like most teams. Even guys who have performed in the past can be questionable. If that's your stance then the Ravens are full of holes.......you left out RB, every guy in the room had issues, Dline? questions are there as well.....right? Queen isn't a "gimme".....up till Smith got here the Ravens were all but certain he was going to be gone after this season. Even at QB, Jackson isn't a guarantee either. As noted he hasn't finished strong in ANY season. Plenty of questions that surround him.

SO if we go by your standards this team is full of questions, no way should be considered a contender.............silly.......huh?

Not really.......if Nuk was such the difference maker that you think he is why is he still out there? Why didn't KC swoop in? They need help at WR, there are other teams as well. SO after all that has transpired you and Ex ( same person) think that the only way the Ravens are going to compete is if they sign Hopkins? Forget about CB.....or any other position. Hopkins puts the Ravens over the top? So why haven't they signed him? Because you're smarter then EDC?

    Re: Roster..........What a difference

Funny I log in today for first time in days and this is the thread I see at the top.

Last night I was thinking this very thing. This has to be the most balanced or complete Roster the Ravens have ever had on both sides of the ball probably since the 2010-2012 rosters.

The OLINE should be a top 10 unit. The TE group will be possibly the best in the NFL. Kolar supposedly looks to be in great shape. No team I can think of will have 3 TES of that possible talent.

The WR group finally looks legit. Alot of unknowns but it has some REAL talent for a change.

The LB group of Smith and QUeen will be one of if not the best unit in the NFL. The secondary as a group should be a top 5 unit for sure.

For me the only somewhat question marks are going to be Pass rusher and DL. Both units have a lot of young guys who show promise, its just now time to make it happen.

I think this Season they have a real shot at being top contender in the AFC.

This roster has the chance to be one of the best in the past 10+ years.

The whispers in the bushes say that Duvernay has been the best looking receiver out there and Lamar's favorite target for what it's worth.

I'm guessing the fact that they have the second-least available cap space ($652K) in the NFL is a factor. Maybe they don't think the salary cap is a myth.

For what it’s worth I don’t want Lamar to have a favorite target.

Meh........teams seem to find it when they want to. I get it.......I agree with you. KC was only one team I mentioned. My point was if Hopkins will put you over the top, why is he still sitting there?

It's not like he's been a free agent for long. But the short answer is he wants too much money.

You are what you are.......now that said, Jackson can change that narrative by winning. Somehow we are going to forget he regresses in to bad mechanics? Seems to make questionable choices when reading receivers? Just forget that ever happened?
He hasn't performed at all down the stretch the last couple of seas9n because he's been injured. He didn't perform terrible inntjen20 season and in 19 je was the MVP. If he stays healthy and doesn't perform with these weapons than. Have at it.

I hope we have a great year! Let's go Ravens!!!

In 2024 we will have big gaps to fill. I believe that except for Travis Jones, all DTs can leave as FAs after this year. And both of our top 2 RBs will also be FAs after this year. I admit this type of roster changeover is probably the same across the NFL, but losing almost all at single positions could be problematic. I do trust in EDC to solve this DT/RB issue next spring!
