    Way off topic

Not sure if this is going to work.....

Some of you might remember that I collect antiques etc. I couldn't pass up this bike, 1970 Schwinn Sting Ray Apple Krate, you guys remember this one? I always wanted one as a kid.......we were to poor. Now I have one.......but I can't keep it all......this one will be sold.

edit: A highly collectible bike. Almost all original, I had to replace the missing seat and sissy bar. The only other item that looks to be replaced is the shifter cable. Everything else is original to the bike.

A very sought after bike, it's for sale....$2,500. I know what your thinking.......wth? LOL That's actually a really good price for this bike, it's priced to sell. The replacement seat alone cost me $400.

Great! I am not a fan of the smaller front wheel but still a classic.

You need to get a sissy bar for it.

The front wheel is stock to the bike......16 inch, did you notice the hub? Has break shoes. The Sissy bar is a replacement but is the correct replacement. Note: the spring loaded cams on each side.....a set of shock absorbers if you will.

I think Greg was referring to the taller sissy bars from that same time frame.

Would give it that California Cruiser look with a high sissy bar.
