Joe says Viagra for "V" -> Vertical

This audible call is um ... appropriate for Flacco

    I agree.

Both sides need move on and need to stop beating their chests whenever their narrative wins for the day. The contract was done, Lamar will be our QB at least for the next three years. We should get behind him and root for the Ravens because we are Ravens fans. He has showed up to OTAs and seems keen to learn this new offense. Despite him missing a day of OTAs and "Football school", he is there for a voluntary practice now. I am tired of this Lamar Jackson debate... Sure we could probably revisit this down the line, but for now, it is 2018 all over again because Lamar is signed and is entering a new cycle.

So far I see few reasons to complain about Lamar since signing that contract. Let's hope he lives up to it and takes us over the hump in 2023.

If I am wrong I will be the first to come on here and say so......but it's also premature to beat on your chest when not a single snap has been played under this system.

This right here is just as bad as someone saying that he has problems reading defenses. You have no proof that it wasn't Jackson other then the fact that Jackson says he has the ability to change plays at the LOS..........so that means he has the ability to read defenses? Really?
I'm going to play a wait and see as well. Going off Jackson's words this week there's room for excitement from me that he's going to dedicate himself and learn the system.

I'm also in the camp that who knows why it took so long to get in a play, certainly Roman wouldn't throw his player under a bus. We'll see how diversified the offense is this year. Are they running the same plays over and over? I'm hoping we see a well rounded system.

No, he just didn't have time.

I don’t care where you stand on Lamar, one area that he can make a giant leap forward is fully understanding and running an offense. He and flacco are on the same path at this stage in their careers, they ran the plays called and hoped someone is open. Flacco never had the off the field work ethic to improve in this area. I personally don’t think Lamar does either, but this would be an absolute game changer.

I actually think Lamar is a bit better than what Flacco was in that regard. It seems like Lamar is more capable at reading defenses than what Flacco was. Flacco would get that deer in the headlight look at times and would make ridiculous decisions The one thing Flacco had that Lamar has not proven so far is the ability to play well in the post season. Joe's arm would never go to shit in the cold weather either.

Lamar's post snap processing is very high/elite. Its one of the reason he's been able to be a successful QB with little to no time to read defenses pre-snap.
Mike MacDonald should be our head coach next season

Yeah the half dozen times a season when he had more than 4 seconds after everyone got to the line
