Re: Tim Scott enters the GOP presidential race
Not Republican….Conservative. For you and Greg..I’d say Ultra-Conservative.
You guys voted for Trump the man before he was Pres. So whatever small amount of good he did in office doesn’t matter. My point is how can you support the man. Why would you want him as your leader? He doesn’t have the same values as you. Not by a long shot. He doesn’t value the same things as you. Same ideas as you.
Trump is a Wolf in sheep’s clothing. Why else would he have swore on TV that “ I’m gonna bring Killary to Justice” and never did squat about it ? Same with Obamas birth certificate. Again …this is the same dude who was Besties with Slick Willie! You know …Mr Killary. And was a registered Dem. How can you believe in your hearts that this dude has changed ? I just don’t get it.
I truly do respect yours and Greg’s views and opinions. Don’t always agree with them but respect that you stand for something. That’s why I’m truly confused.

Re: Tim Scott enters the GOP presidential race
How could I vote for him? As an American.
I voted for Bush 1 in 1988. He disappointed so I voted libertarian in 92 and 96. Then his son got me in 2000. I didn't vote R again until Trump.
Why you might ask? TO STICK A THUMB INTO THE PROVERBIAL EYE OF THE ESTABLISHMENT!
And you know what? It worked. They cooked up all kinds of lies about him. some you may believe based on these takes.
Is he conservative or libertarian? Nope, but he's the closest thing since Reagan. Since Reagan we have been offered a bunch of milquetoast douche bags.
And sure, he played the political game with the Clintons, etc. Shocking that a NYC businessman would suck up to Dems.

Re: Tim Scott enters the GOP presidential race
Nope. The Rs said they would kill as well. McConnell and Ryan both said it, then wouldn't pass the legislation. That is on Ryan and McChinesePuppett. That guy really needs to go. How KY can elect that piece of crap and Rand Paul is beyond me. Paul should be the minority leader.

Re: Tim Scott enters the GOP presidential race
Ok. I’ll take you at your word. Still don’t get it.
I think in 2016 Trump won because he was the lesser of 2 evils. Killary was known evil. Trump was unknown.
In 2020 I think the same happened to him. People didn’t vote for Sleepy Joe …they just didn’t vote for Trump.
