Re: Tim Scott enters the GOP presidential race
So we agree that it was done on purpose. I am interested in what your opinion is as to the why?
Mine? I think the Chinese were working on it for sometime, they were just waiting for the right time. I honestly hate to explain how I really feel about it, some people might want to lock me up in a padded cell.......a conspiracy nut. But I will go waaaaaay out on a limb.
It was because of Trump, I think they were working on this plan the not long after he was elected. The powers that be tried unsuccessfully to derail Trumps Presidency. Russian collusion, Ukraine phone call, paying off a stripper. They tried everything they could. The economy was as robust as it had been in years. No one.....and I mean no one could have seen the level of loyalty Trump's base would be. The FBI and the CIA and most importantly the office of the UNited States ( Obama.......fact) were all in on ousting Trump. Stopping Trump was in place way before he was elected. He campaigned on holding China accountable in the trade war. BIden while VP for Obama was basically a Chinese operative......The Hunter laptop proves so.
Trump was rolling on his way to a landslide victory in 2020. Biden was his opponent, Biden had some serious opposition from opponents in his own party. Obama made some phone calls and suddenly they started dropping out of the race....like Buttege and the rest went quietly. Why? Biden wasn't a particularly strong candidate. Tried and failed twice before. Running up to the election Trump was negotiating with China to rework it's trade agreements. Trump was hailed as finally holding the Chinese's feet to the fire. Trump announced that China had just signed the first part of a multi stage trade deal.
Two weeks later Covid hits........we later find out that Fauci may have been investing in "gain of function" research.....that in fact the United States may have had some involvement with the lab. If we remeber the media did everything it could to squash the notion that it even came from China.......that Trump was being racist calling it the "China virus". Since this has happened what happened to the trade talks with China? Trynig to solve the huge trade deficit?
I think that the powers that be were working with China the entire time, that this was the hail Mary to get rid of Trump. They INSTALLED China's operative in Biden. There's no way Biden was the most popular President ever in the history of the country......will never buy that. I think all of it......every bit of it was to prevent Trump from being re-elected. I thin k that theres no chance in hell we will be re-elected now. Not going to happen. SO here we are...........anyone wonder why the 80 year old Biden would run again? Because if Trump is the nominee......he wins again. No matter what.

I’m pretty much on the same limb, it was a biological coup.
I also wouldn’t be surprised if it were related to the Bilderberg’s, and that it was pushed by the Zuckerberg’s, Bezos and Walton’s of the world.
It is “funny” to me, how a virus seemed almost perfectly designed to damage Trump’s fortune in hotels, casinos, etc.
It also seemed too perfectly timed to triple Amazon’s revenue; keep us inside on Fb and other apps all day, and then the only stores allowed to open were Walmarts and grocery stores in most Democratic states.
Liberal politicians and “world leaders” clearly were behind it.

Re: Tim Scott enters the GOP presidential race
You give wayyyyyyyyy too much credit to the government.
The NIH was funding gain of function research long before Trump got into office. It was a major fuck up and the media and swamp things couldn't let a crisis go to waste.
I do agree they jumped on the opportunity to impact the 2020 election by keeping Trump completely distracted from campaigning while voting policies were changed drastically in the name of public safety.
I also don't think Trump is blameless for losing the 2020 election. His campaign was terrible. He did nothing - zero - to combat the voting policy changes until it was too late. He and the RNC let the DNC and the media do whatever they wanted. He changed campaign managers midway through the election cycle. And his debates are atrocious. He is incapable of formulating a coherent thought with facts. It's all bluster and ego when he's on the stage and not name calling. It was widely known that he did minimal (if any) debate prep and it showed.Disclaimer: The content posted is of my own opinion.

Re: Tim Scott enters the GOP presidential race
Because Trump can't win the general election. Trump is DOA as the GOP candidate. I'll put it to you like this, I'm a registered R that usually does vote for people on both sides of the aisle as I favor policies from both sides on certain issues. I would literally vote for any other R in the field right now, but if it's Trump? The country can be in the worst state it's ever been in, gas could be $10/gal across the country, more illegals than ever could be flooding across the border, and I will without question still check the box for Joe Biden, and with a smile on my face. And I don't think I'm the only one that feels that way.

Re: Tim Scott enters the GOP presidential race
I think Trump can draw people like me who are checked out from politics where Ron DeSantis can't. Trump is tried and proven in doing some good things in his first term. More than any other R can say in a long time. Hopefully he can accomplish even more in a 2nd, no need to risk it on a Ron or a Tim right now. And not that I'd do it with a spiteful smile on my face, we do need someone better. But I say let him finish up 4 more and set an example for what the country needs. My 2 cents.

Re: Tim Scott enters the GOP presidential race
The economy was headed for recession pre-covid, honestly I think he might have come out of everything looking worse without it as one of the main things his campaign point to as a success would have probably fizzled. Either that or he'd try to blame and bully Jay Powell for not cutting rates more. Instead, covid provided him an unforeseen circumstance that took that scenario off the table.
I don't get a vote, but would be out on Trump and out on Biden. To me, the ideal candidate is someone who rises above the "us vs them" garbage that has enveloped the country. Someone who isn't afraid to have open discussion across party lines and consider what is best for the country, not blindly align with what his party's position is. Might be asking too much, as politicians have never seemed more stupid and self serving than ever these days and that's saying something.
