This is an amazing thread from Warren Sharp. https://twitter.com/SharpFootball/st...717959169?s=20

I understand businesses exist to make money. And they should. I understand trying to maximize eyeballs on NFL broadcasts. But not at the expense of fairness.

This league has gone over the top to punish gambling and the remotest hint that games aren't decided fairly. And then they they have a team (the Niners) play FOUR GAMES -- nearly a quarter of their season -- against teams coming off a bye. They have another team (Chiefs) playing six consecutive games with less rest then their opponents. And these are their last six games of the season.

Thursday Night Football has been an embarrassment for how obvious an advantage it is for the home team. And now they are talking about flexing it.

The thing is, it really wouldn't be hard to do things like international games, Thursday games, bye weeks, short weeks, holidays, etc etc, and do them FAIRLY. It's not rocket science. It needs to all balance out in the long run. And right now, nobody is looking at it because nobody cares.
