And use every book that’s available most always double your deposit and most only make you play through it two or three times. Just pull out from one and move it to another

Honestly, best advice I can give to anyone that at least is taking sports betting more seriously than "I want to have money on the games while I drink and watch" is keep a few bets worth in as many sportsbooks as you can. This will be really annoying at first, especially because so many American sportsbooks are not line creators and they are just following whichever line creator they trust the most. So NFL s the worst with this, you can look at all 16 games before kickoff, and the lines are going to be very similar at all of them. But even something as small as finding a -105 line where the rest of the world is -110 on a game you want to bet is making you money.

A good beginner example of this is during football season I always keep some money in South Point sportsbook. They almost never have a line that is against any of the other books, like you will never see them be the only book in town with a -2.5 when the rest of the world is at -3. Because 3 is the most frequent number an NFL game will fall on, you will see books across town instead of moving the line move the vig up to -125 or even -130. Well South Point's owner has a strict policy on NFL games he always wants the vig to be -110 as an incentive to gamble there. Well this often creates a great opportunity to get -110 at + or -3 when the rest of the world has the game +3 +100 or -3 -120. Another book that I won't mention here is strictly a chalk favorites book. So there are many opportunities if you like the unpopular underdog in just about any sport, they will often offer the best price (my buddy was banned from this book years ago because he was a big enough player that at some point they ran his history and was crushing them by only betting dogs for pretty big sums and was never giving them square action).

The Athletic looked at Vegas odds for win totals and did a piece on what the author considers best bets for the Over/Under the win total.

Here's what they said about the Ravens...

    Over 9.5 (-120)
Jackson got $52 million per year — with no annoying percentage going to an agent — and he also received gifts. The Ravens added Odell Beckham Jr., Zay Flowers and an underrated Nelson Agholor to an offense that already had Mark Andrews and J.K. Dobbins. Jackson said he plans to throw for 6,000 yards, and while that won’t happen, a strong offensive line and the added targets will keep his running lanes open. The Ravens are 45-16 in the regular season with Jackson, and their defense is always tough. Taking 18-to-1 odds on them to win the whole thing is the best Super Bowl value bet on the board.
    "That's what."
