    Reports: #Ravens are not fully "committed" to a Lamar Jackson’s return and Lamar is open to a change of scenery, per
    @JFowlerESPN

    Also NFL teams are watching the #Colts as a team that could go after Lamar if they don't get the QB they want in the Draft.

    There ya go.

    As talented as Lamar is, I don't see how the Ravens could be fully committed.

    This shit is going to get wild the next 4 weeks leading up to the draft.

    If this is the thought, is it possible that the Colts make the offer/trade after their 2nd favorite QB goes? They would need to have some things worked out beforehand with the Ravens/Lamar, but it would ensure they have the QB they want next season, instead of waiting until after the draft and hoping that the Ravens don't match the offer.

    How would that go? “We don’t really want you, but if the guy we want gets away, we’ll settle for you.” Lamar would love that.

    I don't think it's that unreasonable a thought. They could always tell Lamar that it was the Ravens who were waiting to pull the trigger until they saw who was still on the board after the first three picks.

    But it is a lot to work out in advance. You'd need Lamar agreeing to a contract amount and the Ravens agreeing not to match it, and willing to settle for the two #1s.

    If the Ravens expected more for Lamar, they'd also have to get him to sign the franchise tag before the draft, I think, because he's not tradable unless he's held under some kind of contract.
    "That's what."
