We took him for granted for those 3 years but he was really really good. I remember a lot of fans giving him grief after the Cundiff and Lee Evans fiasco game at Foxboro. Many wanted him cut because he was old and washed... He came back and had a fantastic season finishing his career with a SB. We don't win that SB without Birk, he was outstanding during that magical play off run. Hopefully we have another Birk in Linderbaum.
