Free Agency - Best of Who's Left

Now that the first wave of free agency has subsided....

One thing that is interesting...not a lot of massive deals getting tossed out there. Top WR deal is Allen Lazard averaging 11M per year. RB avg is around 6.5M per year for guys like Miles Sanders, who is one of the best in the league. OL was arguably the top FA targets during the first wave.

    QB -
    Carson Wentz
    Matt Ryan
    Teddy Bridgewater
    Mason Rudolph
    Joe Flacco

    RB -
    Zeke Elliott
    Leonard Fournette
    Kareem Hunt
    Ronald Jones
    D'ernest Johnson
    Devin Singletary
    Damien Harris

    WR -
    Odell Beckham Jr.
    DJ Chark
    Marvin Jones
    Nelson Agholor
    Robbie Anderson
    Cam Sims
    Jarvis Landry
    Byron Pringle
    Olamide Zaccheus
    Isaiah McKenzie
    Kenny Golladay
    Zach Pascal
    Mecole Hardman
    Trent Sherfield
    Olabisi Johnson
    Scotty Miller

    OL -
    Donovan Smith
    Matt Feiler
    Justin Britt
    AJ Cann
    Isaiah Wynn
    Dalton Risner

    EDGE -
    Bud Dupree
    Leonard Floyd
Frank Clark (he has a DV history...so doubt the Ravens would be interested in him)
    Jadeveon Clowney
    Dawuane Smoot
    Dante Fowler Jr.
    Shaq Lawson
    Oshane Ximines
    Justin Houston

    DT -
    Matt Ioannidis
    A'Shawn Robinson
    Akiem Hicks
    Calais Campbell
    Jordan Phillips
    Rasheem Green
    Michael Dogbe

    CB -
    Byron Jones (if he's healthy)
    Marcus Peters
    William Jackson
    Shaq Griffin
    Ronald Darby
    Anthony Brown
    Anthony Averett
Rock Ya-Sin (Apparently the Ravens are looking at him)
    Chandon Sullivan
    Dane Cruikshank
    Mike Hughes
    Sidney Jones
    David Long

So many running backs. It's pretty crazy for that much talent at any position a week after it starts.

Ravens need an edge rusher could Leonard Floyd make sense?

I'm just surprised at how low the RB contracts are.

Miles Sanders isn't even 26 years old yet and is coming off a season where he had over 1200 yards rushing, 11 TDs, and played in the Super Bowl. The best he could do was 4yrs, $25M, with $13 guaranteed.

Ravens are going to sit tight and protect their draft space until there is a resolution on the QB. One of only 2 teams that hasn't added anyone new.

some guys will work a deal so that they can keep the talent around them, some do the opposite

    Maybe?

I just don't think the Ravens will do anything until the Lamar situation is settled.

The other edge I like is Duwuane Smoot. He's not a great pass-rusher, but he's solid, and he's good against the run. He's someone that will get you 5 or 6 sacks a year, but he'll have a ton of QB hits and pressures.

Are any of those DT's able to generate interior Pass Rush? If so, I want that person if the team can afford it.

Yeah, I get it. I just want it to be over because it's holding up any other potential serious moves not knowing will Lamar be playing on the tag, signing a new deal freeing up cap space or traded.

Dobbins next season is going to be looking at a David Montgomery type contract and that's assuming a good year. There's just too much competition available at the position. Dobbins is now in year 4 with no 1000 yard rushing seasons and just 11 rushing TDs and 1 receiving TD. That's a tough spot going into a contract year. Missing a season as a running back is so much worse than other positions.

Byron Jones said he could barely walk on twitter

Oshane Ximines is interesting, 26yr old former 3rd round pick lacks NFL production

Byron Pringle seems like a cheap vet the ravens would bring in the room for , some reason

I could see Nelson Algohlor, he isnt good but he produces everywhere he's been I could see the ravens betting on him providing something
Mike MacDonald should be our head coach next season

If Youre gonna say I said something, Quote me cause yall be lying.

Nope. Campbell is probably the best at that of the group and at his age it's not a lot. Ioannidis used to but it's been 3 or 4 years since that happened.

Can't believe we didn't want Mack Hollins for one year 2.5 million.

Probably zero-ing in on the corpse of Jarvis Landry.

Chark is the last receiver I'd be interested in, but he'll want too much for us.

Draft is loaded with RBs, so nobody is paying up for any.
