Agreed. Favre had a swagger but his QB skills were over-rated. He had a great arm but he was just too careless with the ball. His interception numbers are horrific.

Steve Young won 1 SB as a starter and 2 as a backup. That said, I think he was a great QB.

I would say Favre and Namath are more over-rated.

Agreed, given the two careers, it is tough to look at the rosters and coaching staffs that Favre had compared to Rodgers and no think Rodgers would do more with that time period than Favre did. Favre also played largely in an era where there were a few big teams and a lot of losing teams.

Definitely should not go overlooked that both guys underperformed in the playoffs.
