The 49ers are a team no one is talking about. They have an aggressive GM, and could you imagine Lamar in that offense? They would be unstoppable. Sounds crazy I know this is a team built to win now, and have a great coach and GM combo.
Couldn't really rule out the Bears

    Patriots are too cheap

Detroit seems to actually like Goff

49'ers - I could see that but they are log jammed, they are tied to Lance, and their guys like Purdy. Still I could see it

Packers - I did have in the can't rule out category

OK...now that the Ravens have placed a non-exclusive tag on Lamar Jackson, I want to mention something that has stuck in my crawl since Lamar (supposedly) refused to play or join the team during the playoffs. I now truly believe that the front office knows of an underlying medical, physical, or health issue with Lamar. Something is just not right, & I think that several other franchises are sensing the same. We'll see what happens with contract offers from other teams, but I do have a feeling that Lamar is playing the denial game. Granted, he strongly believes in himself and his abilities. But there is a monkey wrench stuck in the gears somewhere among the hype. If the Ravens can eventually sign him to a reasonable contract, then fine. But let's see what shakes out in the meantime.

I am not ready to rule out anybody who is supposedly not interested. The whole thing is a game, and the dance has just started.

Washington was one I had not considered, but with the new OC and the idea that Lamar could be a sales piece for Dan Snyder I could see them as a player.

So for my list that leaves

Jets - who seem to really want Rodgers
And the two teams near Lamar's home town
Miami who needs to wait till after the draft
Tampa Bay who is in cap trouble

I still don't see any strong contenders unless Lamar moves off his asking price

It's really freaking me out but maybe there isn't a real market. Maybe it's all been hype the whole time. Plus if teams offer something lower then the Ravens just match.

    Wow this is weird

The official Falcons Twitter retweeted the tweet saying they arent in on Lamar, not even a smoke screen huh.

Sure feels like the owners are making a point

Lamar tried to overplay his hand. Would have worked with an agent. He's at risk for getting raked over the coals on his deal now

This is a VERY REASONABLE take. You can't trust anyone right now, but I'm leaning towards very few are interested. Plus they will have to reach out to Lamar which reportedly isn't easy, because he doesn't have an agent. Some team would REALLY need to be interested in him.

Maybe there are a few, but most are probably eyeing up the draft class right now.

Yeah...like I was saying, there's a reason why the NFLPA filed that collusion case.
Although Walsh's system of offense can compensate for lack of talent; however, defense is a different story. According to Walsh, talent on defense was essential and could not be compensated for. What did Walsh do in 1981? He acquired physical and talented players on defense.

    Start with cap space.

I think the five teams to worry about from a cap space perspective are:
Falcons, Raiders, maybe Pats or Packers, Washington

A couple other teams have space, but they also have a quarterback (eg Bengals) OR they have a high-enough draft pick that it might be worthwhile to let Lamar go and just pick the next franchise QB (Bears, Texans).

Full list of team cap space(s) below:
