When I was pro-death penalty I was in favor of helicopter drops. You could sell tickets to M&T and fill the place up and drop the child molesters and traffickers out of copters while the crowd cheers.

True. But, it's the system we allegedly voted for........right? Aren't we a nation of the people, by the people and for the people? If not, what are we and how/when did it happen?

We basically are an Autocratic system. The wealthy buy and put in “control” who benefits them. Us serfs are merely fed the BS that We choose our leaders. At least at the DC level. I think there is some legitimacy to state/ local elections.

Our justice system couldn’t be more screwed up. From the Fed down to small town wherever. They’d rather chase bS stories about ( insert DC politician here) than actually control or god forbid eliminate crime.
