Re: Lamar voted top 5 QB by his peers
Leave it to Baldy to try to validate a list that doesn’t have Tucker top 3 and Stanley top 5.
Lmao.

Re: Lamar voted top 5 QB by his peers
You guys just believe NFL players and their ulterior motives? What incentive do they have to tell the truth?
Not me, I know the truth.Mike MacDonald should be our head coach next season

Thus, Grasshopper, you should now have a better understanding the true meaning of the term "Dumb Jock".
In a 2003 BBC poll that asked Brits to name the "Greatest American Ever", Mr. T came in fourth, behind ML King (3rd), Abe Lincoln (2nd) and Homer Simpson (1st).

Re: Lamar voted top 5 QB by his peers
So, do I have this right...Justin fucking Tucker is not ranked as among the top THREE kickers in the NFL by the people who compete with and against him?
Really?
I mean, seriously?

Re: Lamar voted top 5 QB by his peers
There is this weird conflict on the board, with a very small group of fans who worship Lamar, and a very small group who think he's garbage, with the vast majority being in the middle.
Sometimes this balance is misunderstood. If I say something positive about Lamar, people assume I'm with the first group. If, a week later, I say something negative, god forbid, I'm accused of siding with the haters.
Truth is, I bet most of us middle dwellers don't have a huge problem with the top five concept. We might say, nah, he's not top five...but immediately some here think we're saying he's 20th, or whatever.
That whole debate is dumb. Most here want him to be the quarterback whether we think he is fifth, 8th, or 12th best, and that's all that matters.
Even as we point out flaws, we forget that most QBs (or any position or any coach or any team) has flaws. Look at the Pro Bowl list in the AFC at the QB position. Mahomes won't play bc he still has a real game to play. Allen is out. That leaves Burrow as the top guy. But after him? It probably would have been Lamar, because the next three are Carr, Lawerence and Lamar's back up.
We have a hard time seeing our team in the context of the rest of the league, and tend to incorrectly make issues a polarizing black or white deal.
That doesn't mean he doesn't have limitations nor should he be paid whatever he wants no matter what the cost."That's what."
