Re: WR Spending
That works if there is a top free agent WR. They don't hit the market. Last year the Jaguars gave Christian Kirk $20 apy. Will there be a #1 WR in free agency? I doubt it. Maybe Corey Davis who flopped with the Jets and is expected to be cut. DJ Charlk sure isn't a #1. The others are Nelson Agholar, Julio Jones, Allen Lazard, Jakobi Meyers, Jarvis Landry and JuJu. I see some good complimentary receivers but no #1 types

Re: WR Spending
Ex, even though I thought we underfunded the WR position, I didn't realize it was this bad. Thanks for posting the numbers.
The Ravens, "Can I please buy a first rate NFL wide receiver? I'll show you the money."
That wisdom, from the 19th century, still applies today... Bc

Oh its our franchise QB's fifth year option and its time to see if he's a big boi QB or if he's just a one trick pony
Keeps Greg Roman, trades Hollywood, and spends least in the league at WR.
Nice job guysMike MacDonald should be our head coach next season

Re: WR Spending
It’s a one year sample size. Something we’ve already discussed in detail in this thread.

Re: WR Spending
Although Walsh's system of offense can compensate for lack of talent; however, defense is a different story. According to Walsh, talent on defense was essential and could not be compensated for. What did Walsh do in 1981? He acquired physical and talented players on defense.
