GRo has a chance to earn some respect back.
With the report by Shefty that Lamar has a sprained PCL the time is now for Roman to rely on the run game to get us through the next 3 games. Let's play to the defense and the run game. Let Lamar take the next 3 weeks to get healthy and come back to make a run.
The key to this is getting JK and Gus going. Last year we had no RBs and a rag tag bunch of misfits in the secondary. The defense has to feel like it's time to pick Lamar and the offense up. MP said he hates that everything is all on Lamar well now is the time to pick him up. Hold the fort until 8 gets back and see where this thing goes. And we cannot afford anymore injuries right now.

We've been back and forth in the other thread but I completely agree with you on this. Roman has a chance over the next 2 weeks to prove that he really can right the ship. At the Steelers followed up by at the Browns. 2 division games against teams coming off of wins. Get the offense working and beat these teams on the road. Do that and the venom against Roman will die down.

Re: GRo has a chance to earn some respect back.
It's not like Roman can't draw up good offensive plays he's done that at every stop in the NFL. The issue with Roman has been once defenses get film they make adjustments to slow down his schemes and Roman fails to make his own adjustments.
Offense versus defense in the league is a constant game of cat versus mouse. Coaches and players spend hours reviewing film looking for ways to slow down a high powered offense and exploit vulnerabilities in defenses. It was only a matter of time until defensive coordinators came up with ways to stifle the 2019 offense and Roman keeps trying variations of 2019 schemes instead of something new. Pat Ricard being on the field every offensive snap seems to be Roman's answer when Lamar is the QB.

Re: GRo has a chance to earn some respect back.
I fear this too, my point is we are more equipped this year to survive a few games without Lamar then we were last year. We could do to the Steelers and Browns what the Bengals did to us 2xs last year and half the fan base would feel validated with their Huntley is better narrative and the other half would say but both teams are under .500. Harbaugh for all his flaws has a way of rallying the troops through adverse times. I suspect he will have this group ready to play without Lamar.

Re: GRo has a chance to earn some respect back.
ENTIRELY LAUGHABLE and Ridculous.
If you think This offense with these worthless ass coaches are going to establish a RUN Game with just the RBS you are completely lost.
No RB has thrived in this offense.
Roll back the clock
What Ravens RB has excelled under Roman? What Ravens RB has had just an average 100 yard game under him as an OC? 100 rushing yards is a decent metric to discuss a good run game.
Year 2019
Gus Edwards had 1 game
Mark Ingram had 4 games
year 2020
Gus Edwards had 1 game
Dobbins had 2 games
year 2021
Latavius Murray 1 game (Week 17 game )
Every year the rushing yards have been Lamar Jackson.
