Don’t look now but the Terps are 16-5 after back-to-back road wins in the conference. The two guards Gillespie and Rice put on a clinic against Indiana on CBS Sunday (1/26). Derik Queen has company on this team.
Still not yet in the AP top 25 (116 votes in 27th place, 15 behind #25 UConn). Match with #17 Wisconsin on 1/29. Let’s hope once they crack the top 25 it doesn’t “go to their heads” (maturity test).

Today Terps finally got recognition in the AP Top 25. Ranked #18 which is a big surprise since they were #27 just last week. But now this week they have to prove that they belong in the national rankings against both Ohio State on the road and Rutgers at home. It’s a maturity test they have often failed in the recent past.
