By no means am I a Roman fan…… I want him gone just like the next guy. But I am a fan of executing plays that are schemed open and the players fail to do so.

This take by Orlovsky is one of many examples of Romans scheme sucking. Although I would argue the WR (Robinson?) on top of the screen is coming open on the deep in route if Lamar is not pushed to the left of the pocket. Only reason I could see Oliver taking that that drag route to the right.

So it sounds like he didn’t know what the problem was? Maybe the TE made the wrong read and took the wrong option.

That said, giving Andrews option routes on nearly every play could begin to paint a pattern of being a bad idea. I’m cool with that assertion.

Watch the video, they just shut down the Ravens using only 10 players. That 11th guy just standing on the left with his thumb up his ass laughing like (I am all alone on an island here where is the guy I am supposed to be covering).

If Josh McDaniels is somehow let go by the Raiders I'd be on the phone with him to come in as the OC the very same day. I watched the Raiders at Seahawks game one Sunday and the passing routes using Josh Jacobs out of the backfield were so clever. That team only has 1 good healthy receiver. Waller has also been out for weeks now. It didn't matter because the play designs were all about creating space and letting Davonte Adams do what he does best. It's so different than what the Ravens have. Orlovsky nails the issues. They are so obvious.

I watched Miami and wow - McDaniels is really creative. He installed his run game but sprinkling in these pass game concepts. There was a delay slant that I have never seen before, brilliant play.
