I guarantee you half of that was still down to Lamar anyway, because when he's running, defenders hesitate, even when our RBs have the ball, because they're worried about him. If he doesn't run the ball at all, there's no way we even reach 3 yards per carry.

And as we saw from the TB game, 5 YPA seems like a fantasy as well.

Does anyone remember if Cam was fired during the bye week? I seriously think we missed our window of opportunity for a mid season firing. If it was going to be done, it would have been during the bye.

Ironically we played Denver the week after the firing (and lost). How ironic would that be if they did make a move this week (they won’t)

I think there's no way it will happen (that way I won't disappoint myself), but Cam got fired in December with only three regular season games left. There is precedent for a late season coaching shakeup.

It also took the Ravens going from 9-2 to 9-5 and there was a player mutiny around the bye week. So if things get bad enough Harbaugh's hand may be forced to axe Roman to save his own hide.

With this schedule though I don't see it happening, but watch out if the Ravens lose at home to the Broncos and a washed Russell Wilson.

Greg Roman getting a HC job makes Harbaugh look good and soothes his ego, its the only way to get rid of Roman. They wont fire him at this point.
