Re: RSR Betting Incentives
Tony, signing up for the MGM one, is there a bonus code to enter or it just applies thru the link? Thanks.

Re: RSR Betting Incentives
Tony,
I am deeply, deeply disappointed that you've put your devoted followers at the mercy of the mercenary gambling sites, which IMO have done more to ruin sports (and gamblers and their families) than any scandal (cheating or behavioral) in history.
Did you really need their $$$ that much? Did they make you an offer you couldn't refuse? (So to speak.)
I will give you credit for creating a separate subforum for gambling. I hope you're going to restrict discussion of the subject (and for that matter fantasy football, which is nothing but a slightly more respectable form of gambling) to that part of the site - and that you and the Mod Squad are going to police that restriction vigorously. I'm not holding my breath. These things have a way of spilling over. Especially to the extent that the Mods are betting types.
Sad.

Re: RSR Betting Incentives
What business doesn't seek a little incremental revenue?
Isn't it the NFL way?
The league moved to Vegas, endorses gambling, so why shouldn't we enter the mix? It's not as if gambling is something new to the NFL. Football pools have been around my entire life. Even injury reports are rooted in gambling.
Sorry this disappoints you. Some of the game's rule changes are disappointing too but we all adjust our sails and hopefully move forward.
Like anything else on these forums or in life for that matter, if it doesn't appeal to you, move on from it or simply ignore the topic. I don't mind the political forums on RSR but I have never clicked on that link even once to visit and its my site. Not my thing, but its existence doesn't bother me.
Eventually I hope the gambling aspect of RSR doesn't bother you either.
Have a great day!Follow me on Twitter @RSRLombardi

Re: RSR Betting Incentives
My guess is that a small fraction of RSR's forum members will even take part in this. Some people like to gamble. Most do not. Gambling apps on phones aren't going to make a big difference in that regard. People who wanted to gamble on sports before found ways to do it.. either by going to a state that allowed it, or finding some guy in the back alley whose name ends in a vowel. Ooops...strike that. What I'm trying to say is that Tony kept it out of the public for the most part and the vast majority probably wont even click on it.
