Patriots Mac Jones injury status
Sounds/reads like Mac Jones doesn't want surgery and the Pats do. So it looks like 4 weeks out (with surgery) and 6-8 weeks out (without surgery). Jones doesn't have that firm a hold on the Pats job to screw around with Belicheat.

The Patriots and Mac Jones are at a disagreement about how to move forward.
Patriots want to get him back as soon as possible and he’s hesitant to their guidance and wants to proceed with caution. 2nd opinion.
Pats timeline is 4 weeks max, he’s comfortable waiting 6-8 if needed.

Patriots’ QB Mac Jones has what doctors diagnosed as a severe high ankle sprain that would cause many to have surgery, per sources. He is likely to miss multiple games. Jones and the Patriots still are discussing his options and the best way to proceed.

Fuck the Patriots. Your body, your choice. A lot can go wrong even in simple surgery. The effects can be long term years later.

The Schefter tweet is accurate. I don't believe the other tweet for a second.
They may as well take their time, they're not winning many games this year

Re: Patriots Mac Jones injury status
6-8 weeks without surgery is a best case scenario.

In other news, Jones’s performance after being tackled by Calais has won him the role of “one-legged man in a butt-kicking contest”.

Re: Patriots Mac Jones injury status
I agree with you. I'm sure they would love him back in 4wks but I really doubt the Patriots have a 4 wk timeline on a high ankle sprain with or without surgery. Maybe that's their Adrian Peterson best-case super healer scenario but the more likely expectation would be to start doing some things around 4wks with the goal of being able to play in 6

Would normally feel sorry for a player with injury but after that play where he purposely twisted the guys ankle injuring him this clown deserves what ever karma he gets.

No offense to anyone here, but why should we care about Mac Jones?
