OK, I get that we needed a warm body. Why not a young, cheap, healthy, hungry warm body with upside -- a guy already on our PS -- Moon?
Not much really matters, and the rest doesn't matter at all.

Why not both? He can be elevated a couple of times.

Itís not like Oweh had any sacks in college for some team to jump in front of them? Oweh was on nobodyís board that early. So how a player with zero sacks in college that played in a so so conference what on tape made Eric DeCosta think they have to draft this guy this high? What on tape made them think what skills he had would translate to the NFL in year 1-2? As oppose to a project player who usually take 4-5 years? Somebody help me understand? Because now we have no pass rush at all.
Smoove - I truly believe that it's the coaching. They have played him out of position constantly since he's been here that's killed him. When you draft a raw prospect who has the gifts but not the training you MUST have a plan to provide the training in exactly what you want.

The Ravens instead trained him to be a jack of all trades and he's good at doing a lot of things. What they didn't do was train him to be a great pass rusher - so he's not. The Ravens wanted him to cover and occasionally rush under Wink - that's what they got. They needed him to play OLB this year, that's what they are getting.

If they switched and said just get the quarterback, then he would do that. They aren't telling him that, my guess is because of desperation and need due to the lack of players at OLB.

    I think it's that simple.
