Obviously bad take. If we are are not going to give Lamar 250 million .. we would franchise tag him and either play him under that or trade him. They're not going to just let him walk.

I also don't think Huntley has the ability to be a franchise QB, he is just a good back up that can win you some games. If we trade Lamar, we will be drafting a QB.

I disagree but this is actually a reasonable take. There’s definitely an argument to be made especially if he wants $250 mill fully guaranteed or whatever.

I love Lamar and want him as our QB. But, I agree w/this. If they end up giving him a contract like that, just like most, if not all of the other mega money ones given to other QB's, it'll be a huge mistake. No single player in the NFL is worth anywhere near that. This is not a Lamar take, it's an all QB take.
