    Bateman and Duv have speed
Proche needs a chance along with Wallace to step up
And this looks like the best crop of UDFA we have ever had
I'm getting sick of hearing the Jimmi Hendrix Are You Experienced?
That's just talking heads trying to sound wise by having something to say
    In decending order
    Bolden
    Bridges
    Polk Clark Victor Moore Webb

Even if we didn't have all the above bright spots
We ain't goint to get anybody great at this point and especially not at what we can afford

Anyone who says we need an experienced one should be given the Preston award and ignored

Did I even have to mention Mandrews/Boyle?
This. Let's give these guys game snaps and find out what they can bring to the table. Tired of hearing about people tearing up camp then not getting snaps in the games

    Re: Veteran WR options

This is another opportunity that gives Jackson a chance to add to his resume; receiver development.
Tom Brady elevated undrafted Wes Welker and 7th round Edelman to his go-to guys. (With the help of Bilichick and coaches too, but that’s another thread) Let’s be honest, we blast Boykin for not contributing while Jackson was forcing the ball to double-teamed Andrews, and Brown.
Can Lamar and Harbaugh/Roman develop Proche, Duvernay, Wallace or one of the undrafted rookies into a Welker or Edelman? It’d be nice.

I think they will add someone just to have them in the mix. Someone with some experience

No point. Ravens have already chosen the offense they want.

Bateman, Andrews, RBs, Young TE’s, and musical chairs at 2-3WR.

We are running a jumbo power offense. An old vet WR would just be wasting money.

Bateman just needs to have a breakout year. Which I expect him to be a top 5 receiver this year.

I don't see how unless they extend Lamar. There is not enough cap for the UDFAs and PS guys right now...

Right they've chosen that injuries tend to change the picture and what you want to do is put yourself in a position where have backups..... So veteran wide receiver is a necessity

What injuries would make a washed up vet WR valuable?

If Bateman goes down we are screwed regardless, no vet is filling his shoes.

Porche/Duvernay/Wallace is who we are rolling with. Getting an old slow washed up vet won’t be better than any of those 3 who have been in this offense already.

If Lamar extends then I expect Julio to get signed, but only if….

    Re: Veteran WR options

I think it's a lose-lose proposition. I don't want to see them sign the next Sammy Watkins to take away snaps from Proche or Duvernay. We've seen that before. It doesn't help any veteran at this point in an offense that already has limited opportunities for WRs and that doesn't "feature" them. And that only retards the opportunity to see what the younger players can do. I don't think either guy is the next Miles Boykin...Tandon Doss...Clarence Moore....pick your poison.

So no, regardless of what happens with Jackson's contract.

Trade for Robby Anderson or sign Julio. My top 2 moves
