    Wink hired by the Giants

Good for him, glad he got a job. That said, we should know when and where all his blitzes are coming from when we play the Giants this season.

They'll be fine except when playing Cincinnati, lol.

It makes sense. You have a first time offensive minded coach who is bringing in an older veteran DC who has been in that role with 2 other teams. Sean McVey did the same thing with Wade Phillips

Giants played primarily zone last year. I would expect that to change

Which means that they better draft some good DBs or it's not going to work!

Might be seeing Averrett in the big apple next year. So he can have his “all pro” cornerback.

I doubt the Giants switch from their 4-3 based scheme … so no, it’ll be different.

The Giants defense will improve.....it always does when Wink steps in. For the Giants it's no where to go but up. Players will buy in and they will play well. But Winks defensive doesn't make great players. He needs great players to make his scheme great. If it did the Ravens would have had way more success in the past few years.

Wink is brilliant with scheme, and every coach needs players, especially on defense, no exception. I think Wink will get buy-in from the players and succeed brilliantly in the short term. I think Wink’s weakness lies in how he coaches fundamentals.
