NFL probe of Washington / Snyder and Goodell's testimony
Goodell testified in a congressional hearing yesterday and defended the way the league has handled the Washington workplace probe.
The House Oversight and Reform Committee feels things have been done in secret and Snyder has not been disciplined.
The issue is the refusal to release any information and this is a league that had a 234 page Deflategate report, 96 page report on Ray Rice and 148 page report on Miami workplace culture.
This information (that got Gruden fired) must be embarrassing at minimum. Curious if the league can keep things discreet and what happens to this team/owner.
“Mr. Snyder has not been held accountable,” said the committee chairwoman, Carolyn Maloney (D., N.Y.) “If the NFL is unwilling or unable to hold Mr. Snyder accountable, then I am prepared to do so.”
“Respectfully, Dan Snyder has been held accountable,” Goodell replied.

Re: NFL probe of Washington / Snyder and Goodell's testimony
Why are the bimbos & assholes on this committee wasting their time on a purely local, and private matter? What do sexual harassment tales and disgruntled Redskins accounting personnel have to do with national security, or other matters of national importance?
Every member of this so-called Oversight and Reform Committee should be censured for wasting taxpayers dollars on witch-hunting a private citizen of a privately held company which has broken no laws. And if a law were broken, it would be a matter for the Maryland, or Virginia, legal authorities. Not these bozos on Capitol Hill!
Snyder is a total jerk, but he gets kudos for refusing to participate in this witch hunt.
In a 2003 BBC poll that asked Brits to name the "Greatest American Ever", Mr. T came in fourth, behind ML King (3rd), Abe Lincoln (2nd) and Homer Simpson (1st).

Re: NFL probe of Washington / Snyder and Goodell's testimony
Come on, T
The NFL both has a federally granted anti trust exemption and is a huge business that employs a ton of people, moves a ton of money, sets examples for other businesses and Is a part of our national culture / ethos
It's totally valid for congress to care, and they can walk and chew bubble gum at the same time
