I was in HS then. Our parents were out of town for their 25th anniversary trip. Really didn't party much back then, so we just bunkered down in the house.
One good thing to come out of that storm; we used to go fishing at the University of Maryland golf course pond. Agnes dropped a huge tree into the water. eventually, huge bass used to hang out under that log for shade in the summer and look for food. We'd cast a rubber minnow out and over the log and came up with some whoppers. All the time having to dodge golf balls.

I was not alive yet.
Bit my dad was in OC when they got the word to get the hell outta dodge.
Him and his buddies were on motorcycles flying back to Baltimore and the bay Bridge was swinging in the wind.
2nd scariest day of his life.

I remember Agnes well. I was just a kid, but I remember the bridge on Glen Arm Rd at Cromwell Bridge completely wiped out, with flood waters backed up Glen Arm Rd several hundred yards from the bridge.
Living in Glen Arm, for a period of time if you wanted to travel from Glen Arm to Towson, you had to drive all the way to Pennsylvania to get on I-83 south, because every bridge across the Gunpowder River was either washed out or completely under water.
