Re: Random press conference tomorrow with EDC and Harbaugh.
I’m sure they considered that, but
1. High probability of Koch gone
2. Need cap room to sign all drafted (2 1sts)
3. June 1st designation if useful, doesn’t have to wait until June 1
4. Raven organization very respectful of players
5. Explains both Harbs and EDC
Only curveball I see is Koch wouldn’t mind another year, and if retired couldn’t get a call from elsewhere if a punter got injured. (Except from us). So a remote chance of being cut, but I expect retirement with maybe a coaching hiring for a while.

If Koch still wants to play there will be interest. If I'm a good team and trying to dot the I's and cross the T's this season to make a run then Koch is perfect. I could the Eagles, 49ers or Chargers calling Koch right away to see if he wants to come to camp

Re: Random press conference tomorrow with EDC and Harbaugh.
Be ironic if it was the team that Peter King referred to wanting to trade for the Raven’s next 4th rounder (139) for Stout, and never called because we took him at 130.
No idea who the team was, but it may leak out if they still want a punter.
Just speculatin’
Edit. How EDC would a trade for a 7th be?at one point of my life I was exactly Pi years old

Re: Random press conference tomorrow with EDC and Harbaugh.
It's tough to imagine Harbaugh ever retiring. Some guys just live NFL football. I'd put him there with Belichick, Tomlin, Reid and Carroll. No Sean Payton or Bill Parcells burnout for these guys.

I wonder when Jimmy Smith & Pernell McPhee are going to make their decisions/announcements. I feel like it would be ideal if both, along with Koch, all three went out together at a presser. After all, each one had key plays during the 2012–2013 postseason en route to and/or during Super Bowl XLVII.
