Less than 50 catches over past three years. No thanks.

Rather pay little extra for Will Fuller if that’s the case.

Re: Predict how the Ravens address their WR situation now.

There are a bunch of ways for the Ravens to approach the WR room.

I want to see what Duverany can become given a more meaningful role in the passing game i.e. more targets. But, Duvernay's expanded role isn't likely to happen if they bring in a veteran WR.
So for me a veteran WR has to clearly offer more then the potential of what Duverany can become. The number of available WRs that fit that bill is less then a handful.

Alternatively you can bring in a young WR. Call them whatever.....these guys aren't gonna have a resume of great production or else they wouldn't be available. My requirements would be that they have started games and have some production at outside WR. They enter Ravens facility with the understanding that they're not being handed anything. They're coming in to add depth at X and Z and to compete. The list of WRs that fit this mold is also less then a handful.

But as it turns out, the only other WR we know about who might have been the pick was Calvin Austin, who the Steelers grabbed one pick ahead of the Ravens fourth, fourth-round pick.

    So now what?

They've been open about possibly signing a free agent receiver. There seems to be one strong candidates and a bunch of older risks who might take one more bite of teh apple (J. Jones, E. Sanders, C. Beasley, M. Sanu). But do they really add enough, when the team, with limited cap space, might also want to address Edge or even CB?

Historically, they've addressed WR needs via trade.

On the other hand, with a bunch of TE options, are they set at WR, believing in their young guys?

Of these choices, what do you predict is the most likely outcome?

    1. They land Jarvis Landry
    2. They sign a lesser, older WR
    3. They trade Clark or a pick for a WR
    4. They stand pat with what they have
    1 or 4

Jackson might actually play more than 8 games though

Nothing now. Stand pat and see what we have. There will be cuts, will be rookies making older vets expendable. No need to rush. This isn’t an Elvis Dumervil move fast situation.

6 WR went in the 1st round and 7 in the 2nd

    28 total
There will be aging vets cut or cap casualties or traded cheaply to get a little something, like some idiotic decision to save $2M by trading Bolden for a stinking sixth round pick. Maybe something like that will come our way. Nobody named Evans please

Is it sad that I sort of feel like Boykin might have been a reasonable solution???

Mac, that's my wish too. If we sign a "They sign a lesser, older free agent WR" it won't necessarily help the Ravens win, but it would take important snaps away from the young, developing guys. At least with a WR of Landry's status and experience, it would justify the young guys getting less snaps and help take the sting out of trading Hollywood... Bc

Denzel Mims (WR, New York Jets) Possibly

K’Lavon Chaisson (EDGE, Jacksonville Jaguars) Could be interesting trade target
