Re: Welcome to Baltimore Charlie Kolar!
I think this is a great pick!!!! He's got the height advantage to win jump balls and be a threat in the RZ. If he can improve his blocking I think we just got our future 2nd TE to pair with Andrews.

I like this a lot, especially in the 4th round. He will help us and give Andrews a breather.

Good insurance for Boyle if he can’t get back to form.

Re: Welcome to Baltimore Charlie Kolar!
From his NFL prospect profile:
Sources Tell Us
"He'll get better as a blocker -- they all do. He's got great size, great hands and he's really productive in their passing game. He might end up being another Mark Andrews." -- Personnel executive for AFC team
Holy shit. That's a helluva GPA, in a real-deal major. He had to put in some real work academically.

I like this pick! We potentially get another MANdrews-like TE. Maybe he gets the production/effect that Hurst used to have. Double Andrews, and get burned by Kolar maybe.

Re: Welcome to Baltimore Charlie Kolar!
Like this pick a lot, I think Andrews is the perfect mentor for him as well. Get back to the 2019 vibes with multiple pass catching TE's. Lamar is at his best throwing between the hashes and we just loaded up on guys that can rip the seam and take advantage of LB's in coverage over the middle with Kolar/Likely. Not to mention be a threat in the RZ.
Kolar seems like a safe-ish pick to at least be a solid TE2 with upside. Likely is the more volatile pick that could potentially be a miss but has a great skill set and route running prowess. The TE double dip usually works out for us, Dickson/Pitta, Hurst/Andrews. One of these guys will end up being a stud if history repeats itself.
