    Re: Hollywood Traded

This is WAY out there, but could the Ravens be setting up a trade for Deebo Samuel and the 23rd pick could be part of it ? If not, why would we tip our hand so soon ? we could have waited until the 22nd pick to make the trade. Just throwing it out there.

Thing I don't get...why make the trade 8 picks ahead when they don't know who will be there for sure

Why trade a bonfide WR that you don’t want to pay long term for another, better and more expensive WR?

No, they wouldn't trade him for pick 10 to the Jets, they aren't trading him for 23.
Although Walsh's system of offense can compensate for lack of talent; however, defense is a different story. According to Walsh, talent on defense was essential and could not be compensated for. What did Walsh do in 1981? He acquired physical and talented players on defense.

They’re both worth a fair amount of money.

I think this is in preparation for paying Lamar.

    In edc we trust…

Trades a wr and likely with draft yet another one in 1st or a MLB. It’d be the dumbest two positions to draft, so that’s the pick. MLB or WR

Sounds like he asked for a trade quietly.

Because he's better. I leave the finances up to them. Why would we tip our hand early otherwise ? I still think there's another shoe to drop, otherwise we'd have made this trade after the 22nd pick.
